LEO CLUB
Leo's are a high school service club at Whitnall High School. Sponsored by the Hales Corners Lions.

The club is open to all students at Whitnall High and is intended to introduce students to the concept of community service. It's endorsed by the school district and has two teachers who serve as club advisors who are also Lions. They work with the students on self-selected community projects. And, the students can volunteer to help the Hales Corners Lions Club with its greater year-round service projects like Pumpkin Fest or Easter Egg Hunt.

A major benefit of being a Leo Club member is the opportunity to apply for a 4-year scholarship from the Hales Corners Lions Club. We award multiple scholarships every year! The Leos also do a lot of fun activities, such as:
Boerner Botanical gardens
library book sales
helping at soup kitchens
coat collections
raking leaves for neighbors
visiting with senior citizens
sports equipment drives for Boys & Girls Clubs
bake sale & carnation sales
reading to elementary students
bell ringing for Salvation Army
collecting socks for Veterans
recycle plastic
scavenger hunts

If you're thinking about becoming a valued service member in your high school and neighborhood community, then sign up to be a Leo at Whitnall High School.
If you're a Leo Club member, a prospective member or parent of a Leo and are interested in the scholarship opportunities, please see the Zello link below which is only active in the Spring semester. Or, get in touch with one of the Leo advisors for more info.
