ABOUT US

The Community Is What We're All About

The Hales Corners Lions Club organizes and participates in service projects and fundraising events year-round.

Welcome! Since 1956 the Hales Corners Lions Club has been serving the community through volunteering, fundraisers, and scholarships. Annual Hales Corners Lions events include the Easter Egg Hunt and Pancake Breakfast at Whitnall Middle School, parking cars at the Holz Chevrolet Car Show and marching in the 4th of July Parade, numerous brat stand fundraisers at Pick N Save in Hales Corners, games at the Hales Corners Annual Night Out, Pumpkin Fest at the HC Pool, the HC Lions Club Christmas Tree Sale, Whiskey Fest (a whiskey tasting fundraiser) and much more! We support numerous causes including local Eagle Scout projects, the Wisconsin Lions Camp for youth with disabilities, Leader Dogs for the Blind, the Wisconsin Lions Foundation, and the Lions Club International Foundation. The Hales Corners Lions Club is a great way to serve the community and have some fun along the way.

During the summer you may find us at Pick N Save in Hales Corners on select weekends cooking up tasty brats, hotdogs, and other treats to support Hales Corners Lions Club projects. We also help park classic cars at the Holz Chevrolet 4th of July Car Show in the morning and march in the Hales Corners 4th of July Parade in the afternoon. You can see us manning the dunk tank and selling popcorn at the Hales Corners National Night Out in August.

We also sell corn on the cob at the Whitnall School District Block Party in September. In October we organize Pumpkin Fest in front of the Hales Corners Pool with hundreds of pumpkins to carve and prizes for the best pumpkins in each category.

Our largest and oldest fundraiser is our annual Christmas tree sale from the Saturday after Thanksgiving until all trees are sold. We sell fresh cut Wisconsin grown trees and wreaths in the Tri City Bank parking lot on Hwy100 and Grange Avenue.

Our fundraising efforts have help support many worthy projects including, the Hales Corners Lions Club scholarship for a graduating high school seniors. Wisconsin Lions Camp in Rosholt, WI for visually and cognitively impaired children, and now diabetic children. Leader Dogs for the Blind providing leader dogs for the visually impaired. We also help support for the Hales Corners Library AV equipment. Support for the Ben Hunt Cabin relocation and rehabilitation. And, our support for the local Eagle Scouts group at St. Marys Catholic Parish.
